The Chamber

Missouri Western State University  has a statewide mission in applied research and applied learning. The development of the Bond Science and Technology Incubator is facilitating commercialization of new and improved products, production processes, and the development of new businesses. Construction of the Incubator was completed in spring 2008; however, additional funding is required to complete the interior of the facility and address specific needs of each of its small business clients.
 
The Incubator is also providing training of employees for firms both in St. Joseph and throughout the Northwest Missouri region. In conjunction with MWSU’s professional Masters of Applied Science, the Bond
Science and Technology Incubator is providing process research to assist entrepreneurs and support early stage business development, thereby stimulating regional economic growth.
 
Position: The Chamber supports additional funding to continue the development of the Bond Science and Technology Incubator.
